Stump-to-Dump
Our stump to dump logging services includes falling of trees (bunching), skidding wood to roadside and processing cut to length sawlogs and pulp. We build and close all of our own road systems within our cut blocks for Weyerhaeuser. We also provide grading/maintaining roads for log hauling which includes county roads and all oilfield roads. First Pass has a full lineup of log trucks, trailers, and log loaders. We haul this processed wood to various sawmills, which include Canfor, Millar Western, Norbord, and our main sawmill being Weyerhaeuser Canada.
Pipeline Right-of-Way and Lease Clearing
Pipeline right-of-ways and lease clearing for the oil and gas industry is a secondary service we provide to our clients. We have been clearing areas within northwestern Alberta and as far as northeastern British Columbia, with most active areas located around Grande Prairie. Our logging services include falling trees (bunching), skidding wood to work areas, processing cut to length sawlog and pulp for the various mills. We also haul timber salvage to Weyerhaeuser, Canfor and Norbord mills.
Transportation & Hauling
Having to own heavy trucks and trailers, we are able to haul our own equipment to and from job sites. Aside from our own equipment, we are able to hire out our trucks and trailers to those who need equipment and other such heavy machines.
